The 62nd RMC (Reciprocal Meat Conference), co-hosted by U A Division of Agriculture and Tyson Foods, was a tremendous success with more than 650 in attendance.
Animal Science undergraduate students Stephanie McKenna and Caitlin Barnett presented a poster at the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Conference, held at OSU in Stillwater, OK, in June.
UA Equine Science students who participated in a semester-long study of the thoroughbred industry, visited Lexington, KY., and are shown here with Smarty Jones, the 2004 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner.
Students and staff in the Dorothy E. King Equine Program at the UA meet the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions.
Anita Sarathi, who received an ANSC degree with honors in 2005, will complete a three-year residency program in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
