The Meat Science Quiz Bowl Team in ANSC Department holds fundraiser

A fundraiser for Dr. Janeal Yancey's Quiz Bowl team was held Thursday, May 1, in the atrium of the AFLS building on the UA campus. The steak luncheon, which was served by volunteers - including department head Dr. Keith Lusby & other faculty & staff - raised money for the quiz bowl team's travel expenses to Gainesville, FL. in June for competition. A silent auction was also held, which consisted of baked goods donated by employees & individuals with a giving spirit. The auction netted Yancey's team more than $200. Thanks to all who contributed!
