Animal Science Department student receives Pork Industry Scholarship

Animal Science Department student Arthur Leal received the 2008 Pork Industry Scholarship in the amount of $2,500. Leal, an undergraduate student studying nutrition, also participates in the UA's equine program within ANSC department, where he is active in training a horse for the upcoming Razorback Roundup Horse Auction and Tack Sale that will be held November 15 in Fayetteville. The auction and sale is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Dorothy E. King Equine Program at the UA.
